Hauā Reo, Hauā Tangata

"Ko Anaru Tamihana, e ārahi nei i tana iwi, i a Ngāti Hauā, i runga i te whakaiti me te whakatauira."

Like his tupuna Wiremu Tamihana Tarapipipi Te Waharoa, Matua Anaru has played an important role in the Kiingitanga, officiating during the week-long celebration of King Tuheitia Paki’s coronation. But he's playing another important role in his iwi, helping to revitilise te reo Māori amongst his people. He share's his own personal journey and challenges learning Te Reo.
